  • What areas do you service?
Currently, we service the entirety of Montgomery County, Maryland. We may soon be expanding into other counties as well.
  • How will I know it is your company in my yard?
Both the day before, as well as prior to arriving, you will get a text message letting you know that we are coming. You will be able to identify us by our familiar Poop Troop green hat and green vest.
  • Do I need to be home for the service?
Nope, as long as your yard is accessible without your assistance.
  • What do you do if my gate is locked?
If you have a locked gate, we can coordinate with you on how to access your yard to perform the service, including locking the gate prior to leaving as well. We let you know the day before that we will be performing the service and notify you prior to arrival.
  • Is it okay for my dog to be out when you guys are in my yard?
Of course, we love dogs and are happy to meet them, give them a belly rub, or with your approval, a little treat as well. Please ensure your dog is not aggressive.
  • What do you do with the dog poop if you don’t put it in the trash?
When we remove the dog poop from your yard, we bring it to a facility that properly and safely disposes of the fecal waste to minimize the impact on the environment. Putting it in your trash can may very well be against the Terms of Service for your Trash Company as well.
  • How long does service take?
Depends on the size of the yard and the number of dogs that use the yard, though in a typical yard, it shouldn’t take more than 10 minutes.
  • What if I need to reschedule a visit?
Life can be hectic at times, and that’s completely understandable. Let us know and we can reschedule, though please also understand that it will put your clean-ups out of sync for that week.
  • How do you guarantee your work?
To ensure that you know when we are coming, as well as when we are done, we send you notifications via text messages or email. If our technician missed something, you can easily correspond by texting them. If they are nearby, they will be happy to return, otherwise we will reschedule a pickup for you at no additional charge.
  • We are going on vacation with our dog, can we pause our service?
Yes, we completely understand that when your pooch isn’t around, there isn’t anything to pick up. We will gladly ‘paws’ your service until you return for up to two months per year.
  • Do you still perform service if there is snow on the ground?
Bad news is no, we don’t perform service if the snow is too deep. The good news is that as long as you are a client of ours, once the snow melts, we will gather up all of those collected frozen turds for you at no additional cost. This also applies to properties that have tall grass or excessive leaves on the ground, since if we can’t find it, we can’t pick it up.
  • How does billing work?
As part of our service, we conduct regular billing on the first business day of the month. After an initial service, we only charge the pro-rated remainder of the month. One-Time Services are billed upon completion, unless otherwise discussed.
  • Are there referral discounts?
Yes. Refer a friend for a renewal service, and you get one scoop free. If the one you refer is your neighbor, you both get one month free.
  • Is there an activation fee of any kind?
No, there isn’t. Our billing is simple and straightforward. However, if your yard has an excessive amount of waste, we may need to perform a One-Time Service cleaning to clear out excess or bulky messes.
