Terms & Conditions

PoopTroop LLC, here by referred to as “Poop Troop” is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we” or “our”) that provides pet-waste removal services to residences, businesses and commercial properties, you agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the Services you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms. 

The customer understands our ability to provide the Services can be dependent on weather, condition of grass height, access to your yard which is your own responsibility, and other unknown outside influences. If there are limiting factors for locating and removing pet-waste, it may end up being missed. 

 

DOG WASTE REMOVAL SERVICE 

Poop Troop offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include One Time Clean, Weekly Cleaning, Twice Weekly Cleaning, and Bi-Monthly Cleaning. All pricing is based on an area size of an ½ an acre. Larger areas will have an additional charge. 

 

ACCESSING YOUR YARD 

The Customer understands that if Poop Troop can not access the area needing cleaning due to locked/blocked/frozen gates or risk from dogs in the yard; the scoop will be skipped and charges will still apply, as the pet waste will be picked up at the next appointment. Poop Troop suggests adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid locked gates. If the customer requests we come back, we reserve the right to apply a $5 driving fee will be added to the customer’s bill. 

 

WEATHER 

Poop Troop will work through various weather conditions so long as we can safely do so. The customer understands we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, high winds, extreme high or low temperatures, flooding or an accumulation of snow, or other extreme events. 

Poop Troop is a MONTHLY subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed service visits due to weather. Therefore in these cases, we will skip that service and see you the following appointment. A refund will not be issued as we still will pick up the pet waste that would have been collected the prior visit. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate, but cannot offer any guarantees. Additionally, if your yard is in a muddy condition, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out. 

 

HOLIDAYS  

Poop Troop does not provide services on weekends or the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Day after Thanksgiving “Black Friday”, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve. If your regularly scheduled visit falls on one of these days, we will attempt to reschedule it for an earlier or later day and pick up the following visit. There are no refunds for a missed pick up. We will always return to pick up the pet waste from the missed appointment. 

 

BILLING 

Poop Troop pre bills monthly for our service. Your account will be charged on the 1st of the month for service. If your card is declined, we will discontinue service immediately until the issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean up, a first time clean up fee will be applied. We will only pause service once a calendar year for periods of 60 days. If service does not resume after the 60 day period you will be removed from the schedule. One Time Cleanings will be billed after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more that 30 days late Poop Troop reserves the right to turn your remaining balance over to collections. 

 

LEAVES, DEBRIS AND TALL GRASS 

We will always do our best to clean your yard the best that we can. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, there may be some dog waste that is missed. We will be back on our next scheduled visit and will get anything noted was missed. If you find an excessive amount that we missed, please let us know as soon as possible at pooptroop@doglover.com 

 

ADDITIONAL FEES 

The following are items we charge extra for: 

Cleaning/sanitizing dog waste from decks/patios/sidewalks ($5/visit) 

Come Back request ($5/time) 

Cleaning rocks/pebbled areas ($3/visit) 

Waiting- If you make us wait to perform your cleaning ($5/visit) 

 

PRIVACY POLICY 

We may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include information such as your name, email address, phone number, and physical address. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting such as the type of property and area needing service, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior. We collect information about you in order to provide you with our services. We use personal information about our users for a variety of purposes related to our business, your information is for Poop Troop use only. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties. 

We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance or development of our System. We may also share your personal information in connection with law enforcement requests or in response to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law. 

 

REVISIONS 

Poop Troop provides the above Services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit the Sites to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance to any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site. 

SHUT DOWN 

We reserve the right to shut down operations fully between Christmas and New Years Day. You will be billed at your normal Monthly rate, and we will return after New Years Day to pick up the dog waste. 

 

ADDITIONAL FEES 

Late payments are subject to an additional 5% fee. Subscription payments are due on the 1st of each month. A subscription payment is considered late on the 16th day of the month. Full payment for One Time Services are due upon completion, and will be considered late 15 days afterward.
